Caldeirado ( Pronounced Caldeirad ) or Steamed fish

Ingredients:

Onions
Tomatoes
White fleshed fish pieces
Capsicum ( Optional )
Potatoes ( Optional)
Garlic ( cloves or paste per preference )
Chillies 3 or 4 
Turmeric powder
Salt

Directions:
Cut the vegetables into round slices.
Take a pan and arrange a layer of onions
On top of it arrange a layer of tomatoes
On top of it arrange a layer of  potatoes
On top of it arrange a layer of capsicum
Add garlic paste or cloves
Add turmeric powder
Add slit chillies
Add a layer of fish
On top of it arrange a layer of onions again
On top of it arrange a layer of tomatoes again
On top of it arrange a layer of potatoes again
On top of it arrange a layer of capsicum
Add salt per taste.

Cover the vessel and let it cook on a low flame.
Once the potatoes are done and you get the nice smell of fish your dish is ready to be served with Rice or Bread.
