Casablanca
I had heard a lot about this movie but got to see it today. What a wonderful love story and where they acting ? Every moment of the movie would have its audience attention. I just feel flat for the way Ilsa was portrayed by Ingrid Bergman and how handsome the two men were Victor Lazlo by Paul Henreid and Rick Blaine by Humphery Bogart. Feel like saying replay :)

For some reason, I am not the greatest admirer of this movie overall though it rates one of the best . But i like the open mindedness of the husband who accepts bogart as his wifes former lover and that she still has feelings for him.I like the range of emotions that pass through.The story line is too very trite is what i felt,maybe I am being too critical and maybe it was seminal for the later romance films during its times.
ReplyDeleteI would suggest you watch 'roman holiday' which is one of the best romantic movies i have watched and became a big fan of gregory peck and audrey hepburn after watching that movie.
ReplyDeleteI loved the movie "Roman Holiday". I have a new Hero to be admired on my list now :). Audrey Hepburn no doubt she became your poster girl ;). Suggest some more good oldies for me to watch.
