Lesbians is it?

When i walked to Swati and Sandhya's cubicle during lunch time somehow felt like scribbling Sandhya's name in Kannada on her whiteboard by the time they two finish their talks. Took the black dry erase and stood there wondering "How the hell do i write Sandhya ?". Once their talk got over Sandhya asked me what i was thinking about when i let her know that i was not able to write her name. She wrote on the post-it and after two trials i was able to put it in a better way on the board. Was laughing to myself "How the hell did i forget i need to put a "O" to get the sound in kannada" when she said "Don't worry when you go to Bangalore you would recollect ;) ". Me and Swati walked for lunch after which i headed back to my desk.

After some time Sandhya was getting bored so she walked into my desk ( Single cubicle with long dividers, Man i love my cubicle!! ) and started tickling me off saying you don't remember my name. She does this a hell lot of times and takes pleasure as she knows no matter what and when i just can't control from laughing over aloud. I remember my previous roommate Maneesha who used to to do the same. Tickle me off and say you move like a jelly or like a fish taken out of water. When Sandhya replaced Maneesha at work and started with this habbit as well i used to taunt by saying she gave you transition of this as well is it :P.

I kept on talking about other stuffs so i could divert her mind and she would stop doing it. But in my talks i would get lost and she was finding it more and more easier. Finally after few minutes i got up from my seat and we started walking towards the other end of the corridor. We were just near the print room door when Sandhya tickled me off again. It so happened Ramonna ( a client with whom i work ) walked out of the print room and i could see her observe what Sandhya did. She usually stops for a while and talks or says a big Hiii! but today she just gave a small smile and walked off. I was already smiling and now this made me laugh out aloud. Sandhya was not able to make out the reason for delayed laughter. She started asking what happened. She came in a couple of months ago to US and is not much aware of Gay and Lesbian concept which is so famous over here. I let her know that in this country no matter who walks hand in hand ( gal with a guy, gal with a gal or guy with a guy ) people would think they are in some sort of relationship.  Straight's, Gay's, Lesbian's something which is certainly greek and latin for we Indians.  I said her that doing such things in public places people would always land up interpreting it so, so better you be aware and not do something like that in public places and started laughing aloud again. Strange but true if it was in my home country people would have thought we were good friends but we are in US and i was wondering if the lady may not have thought so :). I continued saying people know you are married lady and if any such kind of rumors spread off in office i should not only stay away from guys should also watch out from Lesbian ladies ;) . We both shared a big smile and headed back to our cubicles.
