I got up early in the morning at 7:30am( For a sunday its definitely early). My roomies were into a deep sleep, without making noise i silently walked out from the room. Being a bit lazy, i dint even bother to brush my teeth came near the window and stood there for some time starring out seeing the snow spread across by nature(Mera jee kabhi nahi barta us nazara dekhne se). I came and unlocked my laptop and just started browsing. Many of my friends were online and i just sat there doing this for a while. My roommate Appu(i love to call her so) got up by then. Two days back i remember saying her that i would not be able to have south indian food especially idlis and dosas for atleast an year from now. She had actually soaked the batter the previos night for preparing dosas today. How sweet of her. I went and brushed my teeth and washed my face and by then aparna had prepared garamagaram dosas. Maneesha my other roommate was still enjoying her dreams. I had 3 dosas ( Sometime i really really eat a lot ) with chutni pudis; two kinds groundnut and cocunut, which my mom had prepared and sent. I miss her a lot. I did some oil chumpy to my hair and sat there once again browsing and chatting. Technology really really makes you feel the world is small, talked with a friend for an hour long and bugged him. Sometimes i just speak nonstop. By then aparna suggested that lets all go and make our snowman in the backyards, getting excited even i went for a bath(i usually get damn lazy during a weekend and never take a bath until its evening or i need to go somewhere out...he he he). I preferred not taking a head bath as it was not even an hour after i had oiled my hair. Got ready and was tying up my shoe laces when one of my friend came online. Asking aparna that i would join her in few minutes i sat there chatting with my friend. Maneesha preferred sitting and chatting than go out.
After sometime Aparna started waving near the windows, i just wished my frnd and left to make the snowman. It was -8 out there. To my surpise Aparana had already made the snow man and she wanted me to take some pics. We had a round of photo sessions. These days i dont even remember how many snaps i have got. Once back i sat in the hall getting bored. Aparna showed us her pencil drawings. She draws really well ..reallu really well. Multitalented lady. Me and maneesha said we would do anything if she does our portrait gee bahut hi ambitious hun.
Aparna went to the room, sat on her bed and started drawing. Not knowing what to do i just lazed around a bit, did some google aboout the places in US, got some maps and was hogging a lot. Maneesha was busy photographing. Finally maneesha called me to the room. To my surprise Aparna had done my portrait. Yeah ya u are reading it right. She was sitting there with so much patience for hours and had done my portrait. Meri kushi ki to seema nahi rahi. It was damn good. Maneesha showed me the captured snaps of aparna in the process of making the portrait . We had one more round of photo shoot. Damn i can't just put it on words how happy i was and i am, seeing my it. My Lazy sunday had turned into a memorable sunday...courtesy Aparna and Maneesha.
