Blessed or Cursed ?

An old man born blind
never got to see how the world is
paints the world as he hears
imagines his world as he feels
cursed, is he, not to see the world?

A young man who lost his sight
struggling in middle age accepting his fate
colourful world once seen painted black
memories left which would never depart
blessed, is he, to have seen the world?

Old man who never saw
his world always remain the same
i ask isn't he blessed for the same?
young man who saw the world
his world now been totally changed
i ask is he cursed for the same?

who is blessed? and who is cursed?
could someone ever say?
if we are blessed for having
meanwhile we may be cursed to loose the same
if we are cursed not to have
meanwhile we are blessed not to go thru the pain

strange but true i could say
no matter when where how and what
you are blessed if you feel blessed
you are cursed if you feel cursed
i don't want to know what you feel like
hope you feel what you wanna feel like
hope you feel what you wanna feel like
